Bradley Wiggins wins Le Tour

I did this small painting to celebrate Bradley's win - Tour de France. Very inspiring and his sideburns appear to have infected the nation! This piece has now been sold to a scottish cycling fan so I'm pleased it's gone to a good home :)

AP and Beyond

Well, it's nearly here. This Sat and Sun, 23rd and 24th of June we are taking part in the open house event hosted by AP and Beyond for Alexandra Park and the surrounding area. I'm really excited and have been getting my work cleaned and edged ready. There will be quite a few pieces on display and available to take home on the day. I'm just excited to share my work with people as for me this is a part of the creation process - I know it's not like that for everyone...for more info see: http://www.apandbeyond.co.uk/

My Granddad is carrying the Olympic Torch today - so exciting and wish I was there but my exhibition starts tomorrow so have been torn...http://www.london2012.com/torch-relay/torchbearers/torchbearers=john-merritt-3965/index.html Go Granddad!! x

Greg x

This is one that I did of Greg - again, I've been hoping to paint this view of him for a few years because I love it so much. He's such a pirate and even when he's sittting down he looks like he's in action. A close friend of ours said that it has captured the 'essence of Greg'. I love that he thought that.

Fi

This is a painting that I did of my sister, Fiona. The pic was taken nearly 4 years ago now in the South of France. I love the light and the colours of holiday snaps and I've wanted to paint this one for a while...Fi said she prefers her painted portrait to herself! (she's silly) x

Brighton After the Storm II

I've been ill for a couple  of days and just tried painting for the first time since last week - it wasn't very good but I'm trying to keep the flow going anyway, so here it is:
